OneStop Workshops in April

The OneStop Workforce Centers in Anderson, Liberty, and Seneca will hold several workshops for job seekers in April 2011.  All workshops are free and open to the public without charge. Registration is recommended.

OneStop Orientation and job preparation workshops are offered each Monday at the Anderson OneStop, (864) 226-6273, each Tuesday at the Liberty OneStop, (864) 843-9512, and each Wednesday at the Seneca OneStop, (864) 882-5638, Relay Service Dial 711 (TTY).  Featured workshops in April include:

  • Basic Computer Skills presented by Job Corps on Tuesday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the Liberty OneStop.
  • Dave Ramsey Financial Workshop presented by Anderson Interfaith Ministries on Monday, April 11, at 3:30 p.m. in the Anderson OneStop.
  • Expungement Workshop provided by the Anderson County Solicitor’s Office on Monday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the Anderson OneStop.
  • Résumé Writing Workshop presented by Training Concepts on Monday, April 25, at 10:30 a.m. in the Anderson OneStop.
  • Job Searching Online Workshop presented by Training Concepts on Tuesday, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. in the Seneca OneStop and at 2:00 p.m. in the Liberty OneStop.

In addition, the OneStop Workforce Centers offers workshops on Re-entering the Civilian Workforce for Veterans and Job Search Tips for Ex-Offenders. To sign up, contact your local OneStop at the phone numbers above.

The OneStop also takes workshops into the community through its OneStop On-the-Go.  Job seekers can find this mobile employment service at Adult Education Centers, Vocational Rehabilitation Offices, area libraries and other community organizations on Thursdays and Fridays.
