Those that wish to review and comment should submit their comments during the period of January 15, 2021 through January 27, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The WorkLink Workforce Development Board is in the process of submitting its Local Workforce Development Area Subsequent Designation Petition as required by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014. Through designation as a local workforce area and other measures, WorkLink ensures the local workforce development system of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties is market-driven and responsible in meeting the employment and training needs of businesses and job seekers.<\/p>\n<p>The petition and relevant attachments can be accessed via this link: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worklinkweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/LWDA-Designation.pdf\">https:\/\/www.worklinkweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/LWDA-Designation.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Comments may be emailed to Trent Acker at <a href=\"mailto:tacker@worklinkweb.com\">tacker@worklinkweb.com<\/a> no later than 5:00pm on January 27, 2021.
