(Clemson, S.C. \u2013 November 6, 2024) \u2013 The WorkLink is pleased to announce the release of WorkLink\u2019s annual report, highlighting a year of participant success, community partnerships, and achievements that continue to fulfill the goals of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014, and to address the workforce needs in our communities.<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors invites community members, partners, and stakeholders to explore the full annual report, covering July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, on www.worklinkweb.com<\/a> and celebrate the milestones achieved this year.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

ABOUT WORKLINK<\/strong><\/p>\n

WorkLink Workforce Development Board (WDB) develops the link between employers and employees in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Our volunteer board of directors ensures that the local workforce development system is market-driven and responsible for meeting the employment and training needs of businesses and job seekers. The board implements the \u201cWorkforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014\u201d in partnership with local service providers and through a comprehensive SC Works System that provides locations for job seekers and employers to access employment and training services.<\/p>\n

WorkLink\u2019s goal is to have a fully employed, skilled workforce, and to that end, we help job seekers find the tools to build their careers, and work with businesses to hire quality employees. WorkLink funds programs for adults, dislocated workers, youth, and supports employers through On-the-Job and Incumbent Worker Training programs.
