(Clemson, SC – October 18, 2024) – WorkLink has published Local Workforce Development Area Designation and Board Certification documents for public comment on their website, worklinkweb.com. Those that wish to review and comment should submit their comments during the period of October 18, 2024 through October 30, 2024.
The WorkLink Workforce Development Board is submitting its Local Workforce Development Area Subsequent Designation Petition as required by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014. Through designation as a local workforce area and other measures, WorkLink ensures the local workforce development system of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties is market-driven and responsible for meeting businesses’ and job seekers’ employment and training needs.
