WorkLink and Upper Savannah release joint Requests for Proposals for WIOA related Services

 

(Clemson, S.C. – November 21, 2022) – The WorkLink Workforce Development Board, serving Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties, in conjunction with the Upper Savannah Workforce Development Board, serving Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda Counties, released two Requests for Proposals (RFP) on November 21, 2022. The purpose of the Requests for Proposals is to competitively procure employment and training services under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA). Funds are available to provide One Stop Operations (22-WIOA-01) and Adult & Dislocated Worker Program Services (22-WIOA-02). Populations to be served include Adults & Dislocated Workers. (Youth Services for the Upper Savannah Workforce Development Board will be procured separately.)

The deadline to submit Proposals for consideration is no later than 1:00pm, Monday, January 9, 2023. Copies of the RFPs, including specific details on how to submit proposals, may be downloaded from WorkLink’s website at: https://worklinkweb.com/en/about-worklink/request-for-proposals/. Notices of changes to the RFP will be posted on this site.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the RFP. A mandatory Bidders’ Conference will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 via conference call at the following times: One Stop Operations at 9:00am and Adult & Dislocated Worker Program Services at 11:00am. All questions must be received in writing via email to Jennifer Kelly, WorkLink WDB Assistant Director, at jkelly@worklinkweb.com no later than Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 5:00pm. Responses will be posted on the website within 48 hours of the Bidder’s Conference. Any questions after this will be answered ad hoc and posted on the WorkLink website each week. No questions will be answered after January 2, 2023; final questions and answers will be posted no later than close of business on January 3, 2023.
