The Pickens County Career & Technology Center is developing a partnership with SC Works to help students create resumes and improve interviewing skills. PCCTC Electricity Instructor Brian Stewart stated, “this has been a valuable experience for my students. They were coached one on one on how to improve their resume development and given feedback on their interviewing skills.” The PCCTC has set a goal to place all of their seniors into a career or college. This partnership will help reach that goal. Other programs have followed Stewart’s lead in tapping into the resources that SC Works offers.
