WorkLink makes Local Workforce Development Area Designation and Board Certification Available for Public Comment

(Clemson, S.C. – April 19, 2023) – WorkLink has published Local Workforce Development Area Designation and Board Certification documents for public comment on their website, worklinkweb.com. Those that wish to review and comment should submit their comments during the period of April 19, 2023 through April 27, 2023.

The WorkLink Workforce Development Board is in the process of submitting its Local Workforce Development Area Subsequent Designation Petition as required by the Workforce Innovation and
Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014. Through designation as a local workforce area and other measures, WorkLink ensures the local workforce development system of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties is market-driven and responsible in meeting the employment and training needs of businesses and job seekers. The petition and relevant attachments can be accessed via this link: WorkLink Designation Petition.

Comments may be emailed to Jennifer Kelly at jkelly@worklinkweb.com no later than 5:00pm on April 27, 2023. Please reference “Local Area Designation Petition” in the subject line.
