Earns a GED and enlists in U.S. Armed Forces

Hi, I’m Calvin S.

A few months ago, I decided to finish high school.  I ended up enrolling in the Eckerd Connects Youth WIOA program and the staff helped me figure out my path and help me with next steps. Any time a challenge came up, we overcame it together. I am so thankful for the Eckerd Connects Youth WIOA program. As a high school dropout, I could not have completed my GED without the Eckerd Connects program. I needed the support of the staff to help me every step of the way.

With the support of the Eckerd Connects WIOA Youth Program, I have now graduated with my GED and enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces.  I’m proud to serve my country. I just wanted to give a huge thanks to the Eckerd Connects Youth WIOA program. Thank you for helping make my life move towards the direction it is today.

Also, a special thanks to my career counselor at Eckerd Connects. So many times I thought I couldn’t do it but you helped me pull through and I couldn’t have done it without you. THANK YOU, I appreciate everything Eckerd Connects has done for me!
