WorkLink publishes Modification to their 2020-2023 Local Plan and Regional Plan for Public Comment
(Clemson, S.C. – November 21, 2022) – WorkLink has published a copy of their Local Plan and their Regional Plan for public comment on their website at www.worklinkweb.com. Those that wish to review and comment should submit their comments during the period of November 21 through December 7, 2022.
The WorkLink Workforce Development Board is in the process of submitting its modification to the local and regional plan for 2020-2023 as required by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014. Through these and other plans, WorkLink ensures the local workforce development system of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties is market-driven and responsible in meeting the employment and training needs of businesses and jobseekers.
Both the Upstate Link Regional Plan and the WorkLink Local Plan may be accessed online via this link to the WorkLink website: https://worklinkweb.com/en/publications/regional-local-plans/.
An opportunity for “in-person” public comment will be provided on Thursday, December 10, 2022 from 10 AM to 11 AM thru a Zoom Conference Call. All those wishing to make public comments in this manner should use the following call-in information:
